I would be happy to update the jungle, I like this biome. This biome has good potential in terms of magic. More types of trees are good but I don't think they will add.

I love this idea! They should add some new jungle mobs like snakes, crocodiles, monkeys, tigers, iguanas, treefrogs, and monitor lizards. They can also add better Jungle structures (the current temples are pretty trash), add nicer flowers like orchids growing on the tops of trees.

More tree variants sounds good.  Real life jungles are difficult to live in though.  I don't think it needs to be easier.

Everytime jungles are discussed, most of us seem to agree that the terrain needs work and there is a stark absence of life in the biome.

One thing that would make it look better is to place leaves on the jungle floor that you walk through like grass. That makes more sense than trees loading into the ground. Also I think the jungle should have the most unique mobs. I'm not asking for a hundred-or even half of that-but jungles need to have more life in it! I don't need to tell y'all what animals, bugs, and plants can be found in the jungle (tigers, toucans, fly traps, tree frogs, & leafcutter ants would be my picks).

"Nobody wants to live there, it's crowded, not very nice looking, hard to traverse, and there isn't much there."

Tell that to like half of the hermits on Hermitcraft.

I agree. I love jungles and it is very difficult to build in them. I think right now it is not worth search your whole world fr a jungle and when you get there you find nothing. This is a great idea.

I was just about wright a post like that, and the only thing I can improve is by adding new mobs

Monkeys for say could be very nice - if you give them a banana they let you follow them to a jungle temple who should also be updated with the dessert temple by making it bigger and harder

I really think that before they add new features they should fix the existing ones.

I also think the jungle temple needs improvement, cause right now it looks ugly, the traps are way too easy to get past, and the loot is literally garbage. Not very rewarding for something that is found in a relatively rare biome. Also, the food you find in the jungle is really bad; cookies (which are made with cacao beans) and melons are some of the worst foods you can get in Minecraft, with only about one heart being earned. This doesn't seem very accurate to the real world, as rainforests are home to thousands of different types of fruits and plants from bananas and mangoes to coconuts and cashews. Overall, I think it's time to revamp the jungle biome and have players give it respect and acknowledgement.

One thing I think they captured right more or less is the many vertical layers that rainforests have

I think the bushes help with that and we should keep those, though maybe having a bit less of them would be interesting. More types of tree is definitely a must, even if it's one or two types of tree that are already in the game it would still help diversify the textures in the jungle

Ocelots should get an use again and I wouldn't mind seeing patches of ferns in the jungle. We are still missing jungle villages as well and those could be interesting

I think the RTX beta jungle is really solid. Just do that.

    Jungles would be more interesting if;

I - there were villages in the jungle, whose structures would be completely suspended in the treetops (like the Star Wars ewok civilization).

II - Below the forest canopy was totally dark (as in real life), providing the spawning of several hostile mobs. Therefore, Mushroom Island (peaceful) would be the opposite of the jungle (dangerous below the canopy).

III - The vegetation must have a mixture of tangible (smaller quantity) and intangible (larger quantity) leaves and shrubs and spider webs (rare). Thus, locomotion within the forest is possible, but difficult, unlike the current one, which requires jumping from tree to tree in the forest canopy.

IV - The sword should cut leaves and bushes with ease as it does with cobwebs.

i have one issue with it. jungles in real life are quite dense so the ground is realistic
