Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Blocks of dye

Using a crafting table you could mix 9 ítems of the same colour of dye. This idea would make carrying dyes much easier and they could also function as coloured slime blocks.

    Because we have honey blocks, they probably won't add colored slime blocks. The rest of the suggestion is really good.

    What if you could craft mineral blocks from dyes? An example would be crafting cyan dye into malachite. It would be an interesting twist on the relation between dyes and minerals, and a clever way to add new blocks that have color and texture, as well as being a way to consolidate dyes. I imagine that the dye mineral blocks can be crafted back into their respective dyes.
