Hunger has always been a big issue in Minecraft. You could build a chicken farm, but you have to wait hours to get any good amount of chicken. You could make a golden carrot farm with 2 separate farms, but no one likes to constantly swap between dimensions to get the resources you need. It's time for a change.
That's where the Totem of Saturation comes into play. As long as it nestles into your inventory, it gives you infinite Saturation and allows you to never need food ever again. But of course, everyone is gonna say "That's too overpowered, it will break the game!" or something along those lines. To balance this out, make it a very rare relic that either drops from a boss that's difficult even on easy mode, or found in chests in certain areas. I don't exactly know how one would obtain it, so I'll leave that part to you. Server owners can also easily ban this item since it would probably break PvP and other things.
The Hunger mechanic has always been an issue from the day it was born, and the Totem of Saturation aims to circumvent that.
