If you've played minecraft for a while then you've probably heard of the Far Lands which where a world generation error in the early stages of Minecraft caused by the player venturing to far into their world. The Far Lands were fixed and removed from Minecraft but I always thought the concept was interesting. After a while of brainstorming I thought of an idea to make the border of Minecraft worlds more interesting. The Final Edge Biome would form within 5,000 to 10,000 blocks of the boundary of your minecraft world and would act as a dangerous wasteland preventing players from venturing further. This biome would consist of a new type of dirt called Darkened which would look similar to Coarse dirt but with a more blackish grey color skeme, their would also be jagged rock formations to slow the player down. Even a new mob called the Swarmer which would appear as a grayish colored Husk and have a similar movement speed to that of a baby zombie. Trees would be rare in the Final Edge biome but would bring a new wood type to minecraft called Shade Logs. *The design of the trees and new wood is up to the developers.* With the Final Edge biome surrounding the boundary of your Minecraft world It would permanently be one of the rarest biomes in Minecraft, only occurring once per world. Currently, crossing the boundary of your Minecraft world will cause your game to slow down untill you eventually fall into the abyss and die
*In survival* I think this biome would add a unique twist to Minecraft and encourage players to reach the edge of there world.
