Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Crafting Table Addons

This idea was originally one of Notch's ideas. The idea is, the crafting table could only craft certain things unless the it was touching the right blocks.

e.x. To craft a cake, you would need a smoker touching the crafting table.

Now, this wouldn't be the same as I'm posting it if were implemented in game. However, it is a little strange that you can bake bread with a hammer, scissors, and a saw. Another example is only being able to craft a sword if the crafting table was touching a smiting table. Now, I know that there are already plans for this block, but as I said, this probably would be different if it were to be implemented in game. In conclusion, I think this should be discussed, as it would be a fun addition in game.

    Yes such a good idea, add some explanation to minecraft. (Notch ideas are good)

    this doesnt make much sense imo, for example you may need wood and stone tools to be formed without addons since otherwise you would have to get iron for the smithing table, but that would be impossible because you have no pickaxe. this obviously wouldve been the case but just saying
