Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Did you make those textures? If you did, great job!

I love the textures! My main concern is how rare elder guardians are. These don't seem like something you could build many things with, unless there were a way to replace elder guardians in monuments after defeating them.

Well that is a problem, maybe they could be very rarely dropped by normal guardians (like maybe 2% chance) or found in buried treasure chests and (again very rarely) shipwrecks? But still, the easiest way to get them would be to kill elder guardians, maybe they could respawn after like 10-20 in-game days

Maybe they could regen health slowly too if you don't hurt them in too long of a time, like a boss mob. By the way they are also considered a boss mob in bedrock eddtion, too.

I suggested this on reddit back in around 2016-17. Definitely good to see there's other people that want this added.

I really like this idea! Perhaps we could make it slightly more accessible by simply making the crafting recipe the variant of Prismarine you want with white dye? Perhaps it works like terracotta, and you must surround a white dye with the block to get 8? Of course it could still be a rare drop as well.

Actually that's a great idea, maybe it could also be sold by traveling merchants or by smelting prismarine (im not sure why but i think it would work) but it would require a lot of fuel to smelt a block

I would consider White Prismarine to be a sort of trophy item. Each Elder Guardians should drop some shards but not enough to craft a block. Killing all of the Elder Guardians would give you enough for a block. Then, each Monument you find can give you more and more blocks

This is an amazing idea. I'm shocked at how Mojang hasn't leaped onto this opportunity already.

However, another user had the idea to call it 'bleached prismarine' which I think makes more sense because elder guardians aren't exactly white, but they are certainly more bleached than normal prismarine.

Great job on the textures! 'Dark white prismarine' does sound strange though.

    Keep up the good work!

I think there should be a way to respawn the elder guardians though.

Ooooh! What if ocean monuments were partially (very small amount though) made of the bleached/white prismarine? That would make it more easily accessible.
