Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Poisonous Potato Use: Potion of Starvation

(Note: For Some reason this didn't post before)

In minecraft, their are several odd items with very little use in the game. One of these items is the poisonous potato. Using and akward potion and a poisonous potato you could create a potion of hunger, which incorporates a unused feature that is inaccessible without commands. This also is a reference to history, the Great Potato Famine in Ireland where over a million starved. I personally think this would be a cool addition to a somewhat rare and useless item well incorporating subtle history into the game.

    What does it do when thrown as a splash potion to mobs without hunger levels?

    That is a good question, perhaps it could make sheep munch the grass beneath them. Or make a zombie faster, or recover the undeads health. I am not sure so give me your ideas.

    Also maybe it could kill mobs or harm them slowly like posion.

    Sheep eat more frequently, cows produce no milk, villagers require more food to reproduce, Zombies could move a little faster and hit harder (more aggressive hunger), other living mobs could take damage, other undead mobs may have no effect.
