The nether is going to be getting an update! And I will be happy to reset my nether to see all the new features being added! I don't want the nether to feel like you are in the same biome wherever you go, I want it to be weird and wacky, like the overworld! That's why I would like to ask for a biome called the basalt hills (or basalt mountains) the basalt hills would be different from the current nether, because the basalt hills have floors made of basalt, obsidian, and basalt rock. It would have a black tinted backround, like soulsand valley has the blue backround. This biome would have black fog to make it hard to navigate. brown colored versions of the hoglins would spawn here, which when killed, gives you dried hogLin meat which will restore more hunger than regular hog Lin meat. You will find dead trees with wood called "dead nether bark" and new structures called ruins, like underwater ruins, but more dark and bigger, new types of blazes will spawn here, and defend certain areas, like ruins or trees and they are called basalt blazes, when they move they make fog, but are slower than normal blazes. Basalt blazes can burn you and when killed, have a chance to drop basalt rods, Basalt rods can be brewed to make potion of fog. That's it for my idea, but I really hope you vote for it. Bye!
