Nether Portal Corruption

Nether portals should slowly have netherrack replace the blocks near it. It kinda corrupts the near blocks...

    It may look kinda nice but imagine putting your nether portal outside your base or near a farm and the netherrack destroys all of the stuff you built. It looks nice but it's not practical nor useful.

    maybe it does the opposite in the nether, blocks it replaces in the overworld are generated in the nether so grass slowly starts appearing around the portal

    Maybe you could block this out by putting it in a glass structure?
