Change the behavior of redstone items using add-ons

Hello. I suggest one about add-ons. It is possible to change the behavior of redstone items with add-ons. There is one opportunity to come to think so. I felt that the number of blocks that could be pushed out by the piston was small. If the piston can push out another 5 blocks, the circuit is complete. Therefore, I thought that I could change the piston behavior using an add-on. However, the add-on did not have that function. So I came here to suggest an opinion. The method is to change the behavior of the redstone item by defining the behavior of the redstone item with json. When we can change it, we will be able to enjoy Redstone more freely and create advanced Redstone circuits. I'm sorry for my poor English. Thank you for reading it until the very end.

    sounds really great, especially me, who wants redstone signals to go on forever without the aid of repeaters
