Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Using a blaze rod to create fire

right clicking with a blaze rod should use up the rod but create a fire where you right click. This would add another use to blaze rods and would allow for a portal to be re lit if broken while you are in the nether and do not have a flint and steel. Currently the only way to do this is to have a ghast shoot at the broken portal.

    i beleive you are forgeting about the fire charge, which can be made in the nether. also iron and flint and steel can be found in fortresses and there is gravel which dops flint to combine with the iron.
