Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).
This could be an item which can be placed on existing blocks. It would coat the selected block in a sort of gel which would make it immune to explosives like TNT blasts, Ghast fireballs, etc. This would be useful for clearing areas with TNT and would also be good for making your house creeper-resistant.
