Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

We're getting blue fire as well, so I think it could be a great addition

This would be great! We don't have any dark blue blocks except for Dark Prismarine which is more greenish.

Not sure about the fences since there's no red variant of those. Otherwise, yes, I really want this.

Here is a quick mockup of what they could look like, for anyone interested ^^

I agree with this idea, it makes so much sense continuity wise

With the first 1.16 snapshot out, Blue Nether Bricks (or Warped Nether Bricks, as they could be called), are still absent from the update. Hopefully these blocks will be implented!

In addition they could have the nether fortresses turn to their corresponding bricks in the world generation (red for crimson forest and blue for warped forests)

The red nether bricks should be renamed to crimson nether bricks, and the blue nether bricks should be called warped nether bricks. And the nether fortress color should depend on which biome it generates in, if it generates in a warped forest, the nether fortress should use warped nether bricks, and if it generates in a crimson forest, it will be built of crimson nether bricks. If it generates in a soul sand valley or in the nether wastes, the fortress should only use regular nether bricks.

I totally agree. It should be called blue nether brick and not warped nether brick though, since the red nether wart didn’t change it. Also, how about we make it so that nether sprouts (the tiny blue plants that grow in the warped forest) could make the warped wart blocks instead of another blue variant of nether wart.

I took a screenshot of Red Nether Bricks, selected them in an editor called "Paint.NET," and moved the hue slider all the way to the left to match the color.

This block should be implemented to make sense of the red netherbrick blocks as well as color would be super unique and cool

Potentially a other new type could be added that incorporates bones, and is darker themed (to fit the soul-sand valley)

We definitely need this. I'm hoping they can be included in Piglin Bastions. I've made a mock up image of what this could look like with the other Blue Blocks compared to the Red Blocks:

Also they should add a chiseled variant to the mix.

I think nether bricks should additionally be crafted with wart blocks instead of wart, so that this is more easily possible, plus, it would give a use to all the wart blocks from the giant fungi.

I would love a true navy blue block! This could be really beautiful, and bring some variety to Nether fortresses.

This could go extremely well with prismarine ,maybe add a lot of diffent types?

Totally agree! So the full context would be this:

The implementation of the blue nether wart as a counterpart of the red nether wart (formerly known simply as nether wart) being each one materials for the crafting of their respective block variants. This theoretical new type of wart may not necessarily have different properties when is used to brew potions, it could be only an aesthetical variant but anything goes.

So all this means that having a new type of wart is a viable way to craft a blue nether bricks as counterpart of the current red nether bricks.

If we're being consistent with terminology here, the blue nether wart would actually be the "warped nether wart" and the red one would be the "crimson nether wart".

Yes, also Blue Nether Wart and it would be could if it was planted upside down on the bottom of soul sand

    Good idea.
This requires the addition of a Warped Wart to the game. They could only be found in Fortresses in the Warped Forest biomes.
In addition to producing Nether Blue Bricks, they could also be used to brew Anti-Potions that would remove specific effects.

Also with the blue nether wart and brick wall especially another words it will be really rare only finding them and some soul valleys upside down sideways or maybe even underground that would be wild fungus and if you find it you can make irregular potions that you can mix up in cauldrons and make new potions or unique potions that otherwise you could not make the downs side is that some potions you cannot upgrade with red stone or glow stone and that they are really rare only in soul sand valleys

This would be a great addition for the simple reason that some of us like the dark shiny look of nether bricks, but don’t like to build in red.

There is nether brick which is dark red and red nether brick which is light red. There are 2 red variants so there should 2 blue variants: warped nether bricks which are darker, and blue nether bricks which are lighter. Black nether bricks are cool too.

Yes please!! It would be great if they could be crafted the same as red nether bricks, except with either lapis or warped fungi instead of nether wart. The game is severely lacking in dark blues, so this would be incredibly helpful for builders!!
