New Piglin Update: Gold Armor Concerns

I understand that Minecraft needs to progress, and changes need to be made, bu the zombie pigman, for some reason, just makes more sense to me than the piglins. However, their new personality attributes such as trading, and aggression towards players opening chests around them, are definitely a great addition. The "gold armor protection" seems a little excessive though, because exploring the nether is difficult enough, and if the only armor you can wear to avoid some trouble is the second softest armor in the game, then that's pushing the boundary of just being frustrating. If you wear gold armor to avoid the swarms of zombie pigmen, then you're in more danger from ghasts and wither skeletons. Anyways, no matter what happens, I'm still gonna play the game, I guess I'm just a bit nostalgic of the classic game and hate to see so many of the original things being changed completely.

I agree with the gold armor part. If you take gold from them they hate you but if you wear it they like you??? That makes no sence.

JAGBITE, I just imagine that they don't want to damage the gold the player is wearing, not that they like the player. But if their gold horde is threatened, they do what they can to protect it.

I do like the gold armor idea, but I think it should be more than just 1 piece of armor before they become neutral.
