Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

[Nether Update Suggestion] Black Bones & Black Bonemeal

The Nether gets an update. That said, it's a perfect time to update some things. One thing that needs to be changed is the drop from the Wither Skeletons. Instead of normal Bones, they have to drop Black Bones.

Usage?
Black Bones can be made in a type of Black Bonemeal needed to grow the Nether Trees.
If you use the Black Bonemeal in the Overworld on saplings or grass, the saplings would turn into dead bushes, Grass Blocks would turn into Dirt, Tallgrass simply dies (disappears) and around the block around which you have placed the Black Bonemeal, would be a short Wither effect.

EDIT: Also suggested by other People:

  1. Black Bonemeal could be used to
    - grow Nether Warts
    - spawn Wither Roses in Overworld
    - brew Potion of Decay (Wither Effect)

  2. Black Bonemeal Block

  3. Name should be Charred Bone or Wither Bone (I also like the name Necrotic Bone from Tinker's Construct)

    i like the idea, but in many existing minecraft mods there already called wither bones, so maybe that instead. Also maybe giving them more usage than just bonemeal

    There could also be giant black skeletons in the soulsand valleys.

    Along with that they could also add ‘Wither Bone Blocks’ or ‘Charred Bone Blocks’ for another new block. I think they could also replace the coal wither skeletons drop to ‘Wither Essence.’ I think that this should be a new item that is used in brewing stands for brewing Potions of Withering.

    Instead of it turning things into dead bushes or making the tall grass die. I think that if you used it on any crops. Wheat, beetroot, carrots, saplings, etc. That it would de-age it. So after it de-ages the crop and it is at its final form, it gives you ashes. Not sure what ashes would do but I would like this feature better than stuff just disappearing.

    One more suggestion, I think warped and crimson nylium should grow with it.
