Killing bats drop bat wings and you can use two bat wings and 2 leads to make pet elytras. These can go on your dog or cats and this will allow them to float around similar to parrots. This could also allow you to bring your pets with you while flying with and elytra. It could also lower pet fall damage (for dogs). Maybe this could change the behavior of dogs to do a sweeping attack instead of their normal biting. The pet elytras would wear out quickly, but I think that the pet should glide to the bottom before it breaks (so your best friend doesn’t die). This would give a reason to kill bats and make them less of a pest, and have more fun with your pets. This could possibly go with the kittens and puppies, and make them have tiny wings instead. You can also repair them similar to the way you would with normal elytras with either leather or bat wings.
