Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Splinters

When you strip a log gives you 2 splinters, which could be used to craft sticks

    This seems reasonable, but I'd rather they give you sticks instead of splinters, as that's the end product anyway, and I really don't see a future, or a use for splinters, but a filler item, making implementing this slightly harder.
