Water Totems are great for doing any type of water exploration. Water Totems allow a player to breathe under water, see underwater, swim faster, and Drowned will not attack. It is placed in a players offhand like the Totem of undying. Water Totems are not found they are made they can be used for a total of 4 hours of water exploration. To make a Water totem a player must put a heart of the sea in the middle of a crafting table with two nautilus shells in the top corners, 2 gold ingots to its sides and a diamond under it. The totem is dark blue with glowing aqua eyes. If near a dolphin, the dolphin will show the player where treasure is and is immune to any magma block and soul sand effects. If a player is gonna take fall damage from 8 blocks or higher the Water Totem will spawn a water block under a player and then remove it but will drain 10 minutes of the totems use. If near fish, the fishes Hp will go down to 1 or 2 and not swim away.
