Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Porridge & Oats

Porridge

Hunger restored: 6

Saturation points: 6 (same as bread)

Crafted from Oats, Milk, and a Bowl in the following sequence:   top:X O X  middle: O M O  Bottom: X B X

Can be added with the honey bottle to create Sweet or Honeyed Porridge.

Sweet or Honeyed Porridge restores 8 Hunger points (saturation stays the same)

Great for role-playing.

Oats

Gotten from right clicking fully grown wheat with a hoe (adds another use for it) and wheat goes down 1-2 stages of growth.

You get 2-3 Oats from each wheat.

Possibly able to breed donkeys and mules with them.

    Oats are a new grain that I suggest should be grown in minecraft. It takes longer to grow but, you should be able to make (ingredient) oatmeal, and oat cookies, and porridge. Maybe even use it to bait mountain goats or a specific mob. I could definitely see it as bait for chickens.

    Could be combined with Mutton and Beef to make a super food Haggis.
