Building:
Starting from every 2 blocks placed and doubling every time the goal is reached, the player is rewarded experience points. The amount of EXP gained would increase if the player builds with more expensive materials, or higher up, or on scaffolding, the amount increases. This would reward players who build nice structures, and homes for villages, and rewarding for creativity in materials.
Mining, digging:
Mining and digging are rewarded every 10 or 100 blocks broken.
Walking:
Every 1000 blocks walked a bit is rewarded.
I think this would work, as it would encourage exploration, building, and mining, some of the main points of Minecraft.
How did I come up with this and why is it a good idea? *fancy transition* I was wanting to enchant a pickaxe with silk touch. I was trying to get enough EXP. And it came to me: If I could be rewarded for building and mining huge areas and structures, I would have enough XP to enchant!
