Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Revive pets with wishful

Losing pets in Minecraft is probably one of the most painful experiences of the game. It hurts more when you know you can't get them back. However this can be fixed somewhat with a new item called the "Wishful". Its a heart-shaped stone that has the power to revive a dead pet but only one. Right clicking while holding it would pop up a menu of all tamed pets you've ever had that died. Clicking on one would cause a bright light to appear and once it went away your pet would be back and have a few scars on them depending on how they died (ex: big scratch on them if they were killed with a weapon). This item cannot be crafted but can be found in woodland mansions.

    I think that not only it brings back tamed animals but it could even bring back any mob with a name tag for example a villager or a fox

    This kind of undermines Minecraft, if you (or a pet) died, it should stay that way.

    It hurts so much is precisely because it is forever. if a revive option would be added it would cheapen the experience in my opinion... I myself just lost my favorite fox to a skeleton :(

    It would be very good, I spent so much time to tame my favourite mobs (parrots) and they drowned because a creeper's explosion knocked me into water. If this was added to bedrock edition too, I'd be very happy. Losing pets is a very painful experience indeed.

    I would love that, my first puppy died, because an iron golem killed him, his name was Bob :(

    I made him a huge funeral, with fireworks and bone statues.

    Today my dog lil buddy fell in lava:(
    I made a grave for him and in a spot beside it I put a chest and put a stack of bones in it

    yes yes yeeeeeessss.

     

    maybe not just in a woodland mansion tho...they r usually super far and u have to travel at least a thousand blocks to go there. but I agree on it not being crafted, maybe in command and woodland mansion.(just an idea)

    also, where in a woodland mansion?

    I think this would be great as a creative item. It is certainly painful to lose your pets to natural circumstances, but that is a pain that is real. It's an entirely different thing to kill all your pets because of a command screwup when writing commands. Natural Perma-death makes sense, but unnatural causes don't.

     

    I was a couple thousand blocks from my village. I used a /kill command that was SUPPOSED to have a radius of 100, but instead killed all my pets and villagers back home! T-T

     

    Good News: They didn't die after all, which is fantastic considering that the text log said "Milunka died" etc.

    Still not sure what happened, but at least nobody died bc of it :>

    Absolutely. My only reason is that after an update, EVERY SINGLE MOB disappeared from my world......... I still miss you, Lil' Kebab. 


    That's a joke. I really don't have a dog called Lil' Kebab, and if I did I definitely wouldn't be telling anyone.

    Just had my Cat freeze to death in the snow. Didn’t know it was a feature and by the time I was far enough to try and get her to teleport, it was too late.

    It would be a nice feature, but I don’t really know where else to talk about this. Maybe one day.

    my pet llama billy died some how i was working on my vault when i noticed hes carpet was in my hands i was shocked by this i held a big funeral for him after that i was such a mix of feelings of sad and mad i killed my fish jimmy i will never forget you sweet billy never :{ .

    I know there are people saying this would cheapen the experience, but in my opinion it would be really nice if there were the OPTION to cheapen said experience if the player so chooses. I have enough pain in my irl existence, and running away to fantasy is supposed to help with that not make it worse. I've just lost my irl pet budgie of fifteen years, and upon trying to eat a cookie in game I accidentally fed it to my parrot instead. And then cried for a good half hour. I understand that people would rather it not be super easy, but personally it would be just... really great if we could at least have a command to revive them, if not an item.

    I just lost my cat Tingyun to fire idk why or how it happened in her room my friend refused. I made a grave and a memorial for her depslate bricks and 3 diamond blocks
    And most importantly a totem of undying in a glowing item frame to get her to the sky safely 
    I’ll miss Tingyun delay
    Idk what to do now without Tingyun
