Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More types of swords

It Would be great to be able to craft or enchant to create different types of swords like dagger, katana, etc.

    This is planned for the future Combat Update 2.0.

    You can test it yourself and see what you think.

    It's no where near done. So you won't see it in 1.16 or possibly 1.17.

    It basically redoes the combat delay system. The cool down is still in effect, but the game actually doesn't let you spam click anymore.

     

    1.9 - 1.16 or 1.17. Spam click Minecraft's most basic mob (Pig) and it'll take like 20 hits to kill it.

    Combat update 2.0 release: It won't let you even spam click too much. Once you swing, it won't let you swing again until the cool down is done. And the attack speeds will actually matter now.

     

    Hoes will attack the fastest and weakest.

    Axes will attack the slowest and strongest.

    The stronger the TYPE of weapon, the slower it is

    Ranked from weakest (fastest) to strongest (slowest)

    1. Hoe (Fastest/Weakest)

    2. Shovel

    3. Pickaxe

    4. Sword

    5. Axe (Slowest/Strongest)

     

    And there is more planned types of weapons. (Not netherite sword, I mean literally new weapons as you mention.)

    Man I would love to have more kinds of weapons. Now here’s a theory umm.... lightsabers the double sided axe twin sword (it’s basically a sword with 2 or more blades)
