Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Collectible Banners

Similar to Terraria's Banners, and the preexisting Ominous Banner there should be a wide range of additional banners to collect as a secondary achievement system.

Upon conquering the following a unique banner can be found to collect:

Nether Fortress

Stronghold

End City

Pirate Ships

Ocean Monuments

All Village Types *a

Mansion

Desert / Jungle Temples *b

 

*a One unique banner for each village type, perhaps granted upon saving the village from a raid encouraging the player to be more invested in their local village and world exploration, which in turn, encourages the core mechanics of survival. 

 

*b Separate banners for each temple, having one banner for both would imply some sort of relation between the temples. Even though conquering these temples isn't difficult, the idea of the separate banners would encourage exploration.

    Also I'm against unique banners for sunk ships, as they can be quite common, and normally aren't too challenging to conquer.
    Furthermore, does 'all village types' mean one unique banner per village, or one overall, for having explored all village types.
    Similar problem with 'desert/jungle temple'.
    Personally, I think it should be one banner overall for the villages, and one for both temples, as they're a bit too easy to conquer, and only so difficult to find.
