Stone Block Consistency

We need block consistency.   Raw, Mined, Finished, Brick, Large Brick, Mossy, Cracked, Chiseled, Wall/Fence, Stair, Slab,

 

for example 

Raw - Stone

Mined - Cobble Stone

Finished - Smooth stone (full bock like slab)

Brick - a smaller brick as current bricks are.

Large Brick - same as stone brick

Cracked - same as cracked stone brick

Chiseled - custom per type of stone

Wall - Wall of stone

Stair - should be addable to all of these 

Slab- should be addable to all of these 

Mossy- should be addable to all of these 

 

 

How to Make them

Raw - single cook

Mined - after mining with pickaxe

Finished - 2 cooks

Brick - 2x2 of raw

Large Brick - 2x2 of finished

Cracked - cook either brick type

Chiseled - 2x2 of either brick type

Wall - same as current wall

Stair - same as current stairs

Slab- same as current slabs

Mossy- add kelp or vines to mined or brick types

  Love this idea! Makes building much more customizable. I understand that this would work for diorite, andesite and granite, but, I think they need a texture rework as well, as imagining diorite bricks just gives me shivers.

  yea, i'm not a fan of diorite either. but, others i think this would be great.

  I agree, but have these variants: rough/raw, cobble, cobble bricks, pillars, large brick, cut/small brick, chiseled, polished, smooth, tile, cracked bricks.

  Polished (Similar to existing)

  Smooth (Smoothed soft texture similar to rough)

  Tile (Similar to purpur blocks)

  Cobble Bricks (Rough inconsistent bricks)

  How to craft them:

  Cobble - Mine rough without silk touch

  Cobble Brick - 2*2 of cobble

  Rough - Cook cobble

  Large Brick - 2*2 of rough

  Small Brick - 2*2 of large brick

  Cracked Brick - Cook either brick type

  Smooth - Cook rough

  Polished - 2*2 of smooth

  Tiles - 2*2 of polished

  Pillar - 1*2 of rough, polished, tile, brick or small brick.

  Chiseled - 2*2 of any slab.

  Stairs/slabs/walls for these types with regular recipes: Cobble, cobble brick, rough, large and small brick, smooth, tile and polished.

  Additions to The Golden Creeper comment: 
  
  Grid variant (Similar to dark prismarine) - 2*2 of tiles
  
  Also chiseled recipe should stay as current - 1*2 of slabs
  
  And maybe combine polished and smooth variants into one smooth variant among all stone types just because current smooth stone and polished granite and others look pretty the same, but for some reason have different recipes. Or get rid of idea of cobble bricks, make polished variants by 2*2 of cobble and smooth - by cooking rough/raw.
