Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fire Protection Enchantment on Tools/Armor

I think it would be a great addition to be able to enchant tools with fire protection, which would prevent them from being burnt if dropped in fire or lava. I think this would be a good addition to prevent tools from being lost if killed near lava or fire, of course after a bit of progress through the game. Or maybe you could only find the enchanted books in desert temples or other ruins? Either way, I think this would be great to prevent the chance of your items being lost forever from being dropped into a fire.
