Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

So my first thought with this is how cool would it be to have Glow-in-the-Dark stained glass? In the light it would be nearly invisible, but in the dark it would self illuminate.

The only problem I can foresee is that if it actually emits light, then it would detect it's own light and stop glowing, then be dark and start glowing again, then detect it's own light again... it creates a bit of a paradox. The solution I think is to make it so the block doesn't actually emit light, only illuminate itself in the dark.

Can you imagine if someone made a bridge with these? You could only see it at night!

A way that you could glowing dye is by a drop from the glow squid (glowing ink sac) wich can be crafted in to glowing dye

and with the new cave update it could be used on leather armor as a replacement for the popular sugestion of a mining helmet.

I have also suggested this idea a while back but it would be cool if it could also work for wool blocks or even placed in a splash potion to make the player or entity hit to glow for a certain amount of time.
