Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Stone Pickaxe should be crafted with Stone

When you start a world, you make a wooden Pickaxe and you break 3 cobblestones and you already craft a Stone Pickaxe, making the wood tools really useless.

To make the survival just a little bit challenging, you have to find coal and break cobblestone with the Wooden Pickaxe to create a furnace.

After that you have to smelt cobblestone into stone first to craft a Stone Pickaxe.

It's called "Stone Pickaxe" and not "Cobblestone Pickaxe" for a reason.

    This makes sense, it is called a stone pickaxe after all. I've actually thought about this before so I say yes to this

    Great idea. Progression is far too fast in the game. Ideas that make minecraft a bit more difficult are needed.

    Considering how in the future you may have to use a smithing table to craft iron tools, I say yea. This is a good way to slow down progression in the early game, and I dare say this should be applied to all stone tools. Better hope that wooden sword doesn't break too soon... }:}

    I feel like it should be an option, not a forced craft to make it harder. Over all, you have my vote!
