    I like this idea.  I had a similar one where the curse would reduce the damage done by the object by 4 (2 heart) per level of curse (Maximum of -20 (10 Hearts) at Curse of Dullness V).  The curse could affect any tool or weapon, and only applies to damage dealt.

    This would be exceedingly helpful for bows, using arrows of healing and other positive effects in groups, allowing one person to be a ranged healer, supporting the group.

    This kind of effect would improve on the thrown potions, because the range of those is absolute garbage
