Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nether cane

Found in the nether, similar to chorus fruit plant it will not have a flower and will be skinny like sugarcane. Being chopped down, it will only need to be broken from the bottom and the whole thing will drop. When broken it will drop a shoot of nether cane and you can eat it to give yourself fire resistance for 10 seconds. This is a good way to spruce up the nether and give it a little more pop.

    I like it but I feel like the fire resistance for 10 seconds might be a bit overpowered for something that could be mass-produced in large farms. Maybe with it though, you could make nether sugar or something like that, and you could use that in potions to make different fire resistance potions.
