Going back to older save files

Someone took all my good and valuable loot and then left

Without my knowledge he just left as soon as he took all of my iron ingots, diamonds, lapis, redstone, enchanted fishing rod, e.t.c. My point is, a big game like Minecraft should have a save file system for every device (xbox, playstation, switch, mobile, pc, e.t.c.) It SHOULD be a system where the player (like myself) when looted for example can go back to an older save file that still had the player's loot in the player's chest.

Thank you and please make this an addition to the game before your game goes obselite again.

    For me, I was bringing one of my animals into my underground base via water, and after 10 seconds or so, I got them to the bottom while attached to a lead. As that happened, it started to drown, and I couldn't get them out in time. I have not played much of that world, and Minecraft in general since because of this, and really hope that the ability to go back on save files will exist sometime soon.
