It seems that no one has mentioned cat buckets.
Cats are important in Minecraft. Minecraft has granted cats the magical ability to scare the creepers and phantoms, and Minecraft has made cats immune to the falling damage. Some of these have reflected real life's memes about cats.
Yet, it seems that another famous meme--cats being liquid--has not yet been captured.
We can make cats even more interesting by making the cats more like the liquid in Minecraft!
Proposal: Cat bucket.
One can use an empty bucket to capture a cat.
If the cat has been tamed, the bucket will contain the cat (with all the cat's metadata stored in the bucket). The bucket will become a new item, cat bucket, which cannot be filled again but can be used to release the original cat.
If the cat has not been tamed, the bucket will not be able to keep the cat. Yet, we can make more fun from it, as follows. Now, the bucket will "temporarily" contain the cat, but the cat will soon jump out (and the bucket becomes an empty bucket) and hit the player, probably killing the player.
One can also allow the player to use a cod_bucket or a salmon_bucket to capture a cat. As a result, the cat will "eat" the fish in the bucket--when the cat is released, the bucket no longer contains the fish.
It can also help a player to carry the cat from one place to another. This may also resolve the difficulty encountered in some servers where the cats will not come back to the player when the cat's block is offloaded.
