    Good point... maybe for if you're in creative and are trying to get to the end that's just an alternate route. Or maybe there is just some spots on the bottom layer with fake bedrock. except it takes 30-45 seconds to mine with a diamond pickaxe!

    This is a good idea but, what if it causes the ender dragon (if not dead) to go THROUGH the hole and into the overworld?

    If you are trying to do this, if it is added to the game, an ender dragon 1. Cannot break obsidian, and 2. DEFIANTLY cannot break bedrock that is harder than obsidian. Also, it would not be able to go through a hole unless it was about 7 or so blocks wide. No one would even want to make a hole like that, because it would take such a toll on tools.

    Great idea! But why to the end? Why not the the nether? I think it would make more sense if after falling through the void you can get above nether bedrock

    I have made a datapack that does just this, letting you fly back and forth from each dimension.
