Harvesting crops should give XP

Often when I play Minecraft I put a focus on farming as it's relaxing and I can share a bunch of food with other people, but it's frustrating that even when I have a huge farm that takes longer than a Minecraft day to havrvest, I don't get any XP out of it even though things such as mining and trading all give you experience. I think it would be fair to grant players a little bit of experience when they destroy crops like wheat, potatoes, carrots etc. Only a miniscule amount, not enough for it to become a good XP "farming" methodz but enough so that harvesting an inventory full of crops gives you at least a couple levels, so that players who prefer that playstyle can be equal to ones who focus more on adventure etc, without having to use XP farms or go to the nether for quartz if they wanna do a little bit of enchanting.

    This is definitely a good idea, also crops should only drop xp if you destroy them directly instead of water/dispenser to prevent xp farm.
