The encyc won’t show the mob, feature, items, etc until the player discovers it first

Obtain a weapon, book, etc with the Enchants

 

Parts of the encyc can hint at stuff.

Taigas and birch can have ??? under variants for mega taiga or tall birch biomes. Same with mobs.

Crafting Tree can show you a silhouette of what you can craft if you haven’t crafted it already and give the recipe.

 

Instead of “new crafting recipe” popping up.

There should be a book icon in the inventory which will open up the encyc. An exclamation point will appear over the book if the player discovers new stuff.

    This is definitely a wonderful idea that could bring new players to the game, as it helps make things easier to understand. No one wants to spend their time running to the Minecraft Wiki for information every time we forget a certain recipe or how to use a certain block/item!
