Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More uses for obsidian

Obsidian armor would give more protection than diamond armor and obsidian sword would do more damage than a diamond sword you would craft these items just like any other sword or armor we need more uses for obsidian because it would be really cool and I feel like we need more armor and weapons also because we need more uses for obsidian

    I think that it should slow down speed too though. How are you going to Sprint like you're wearing nothing when you're wearing complete obsidian armour? There should be a penalty when using this armour, and that should be speed.

    You only need water and lava to make as much obsidian you want, people would lose interest in diamonds.

    My sons thought about obsidian armour and tools yesterday when we were out for a walk. They think this would be a great update if it became a thing. Also, it could be fire proof against lava!
