Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Possibility to place beacon upside down or alternative block

As in a creative worlds a beacon is often used as light source and actually has a nice texture which can be seen as a lamp it should be possible to place it upsidedown. 

Or cause an upside down beacon makes no sense with the beam a new block could be added that has a look close to that of the beacon crafted with a sealantern in the middle a row of slabs on top and the rest glass panes. If it was a new block it could have have directional light level.  Would be nice to have in tall building cause right now you can stick light to the ceiling but it wont reach the ground. This new light could have a stronger light into the direction its facing

    I like this a lot; I would like to add one thing also: perhaps it could have more of a yellow-toned, warmer light, rather than the cool blue tones that a beacon has.

    I would really appreciate for this beacon item to be able to beam toward the grounds I have made a UFO craft and this would be a great effect in the world I have created please make it so, appreciate your help with this please.
