Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Increased durability for gold equipment

Currently gold equipment is useless due to it's unjustly low durability. Tools are worse than Wood! I believe it should be at least as Stone.

    Gold is very soft. If you bite down on pure gold it will deform. Try doing that to anything made of hardwood and you will probably break your teeth before you put a dent in it. That is why gold not only has the worst durability, but can be crafted with food.

    It's a game that has to be balanced and not encumber itself in real-life properties. Gold's bonus to enhancements doesn't justify it's pathetic durability.
