Hello all, my proposal is that the UI for the book and quill (the thing that you see when you are using the book and quill) be updated to match that of java edition's. This is primarily because of redstone functionality, a fun little feature that you can currently do is use a book and quill, lectern, and comparator to output a redstone signal based on the page of the book that you are on, this is particularly great for practical jokes, and for systems involving making a multiple choice selection. The only problem is though, the Bedrock Codebase UI for the book and quill has it such that there are two pages being viewed at once (left and right) much like a regular book, and this makes these sort of systems act wonky as there is no way to say exactly what page you are on. What I would want is either an update to the UI to make it such that one page is viewed at a time (but most likely there is a better solution as this would be a pain to design and people do prefer the two page layout from what I have seen) OR make it such that when reading a book, your cursor/selector (whatever you want to call it) visibly highlights one page at a time when going between the forward and back buttons of the book, and the highlighted page is considered by the game to be the page that you are "on". This would make these redstone systems work much better, and could allow for more functions when reading a book (example: copying a page then pasting it in another book) to be added later.
TLDR: Update to UI for book and quill to make it easier for redstone use.
