Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dried Mud Brick

The idea is to add one or several blocks with a texture similar to the stone bricks in look, but not colour. They could vary in colour from pale yellow to red or pale yellowish brown.

There is a need for more variation when it comes to building in drier biomes of the game and this could add some interesting colours and textures to the pallet.

It could be created from sand or dirt combined with wheat, grass or a bucket of water and then left to dry or simply giving the player the block.

The inspiration for this is the building resources and technique of early civilisations in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia and the announced update to the desert and savannah biomes.

    New mud block made from dirt being next to water. Also, it dries up if not next to water during the day, and becomes dried mud. If you want to make mud bricks you must use a furnace or blast furnace. Dried mud will turn into dirt if next to water for long enough.

    The mud before dried into bricks could be useful for a pig pen or where you keep your pigs for breeding.

    This seems like a good idea, as many ancient civilizations made use of mud bricks, and adding them to the game could add a good early-game building material. I think that they should be made by putting 4 dirt blocks into the crafting table in a square, similar to how normal bricks are made.
