Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Brick and pillar versions of andesite, diorite and granite

I've actually always wished for that option. It would add so much more opportunities to build, at least for me. I hope this can.be added. I don't see a reason why not.

    I honestly came up with an idea about having pillars in Minecraft but it got taken down by another post saying that all items should be placeable.

    We need this! I like all of the stone varients, but it bugs me some of them do not have any brick types.

    I agree, but also add chiseled brick variants, buttons and pressure plates, doors and trapdoors. The pressure plates and buttons would be made with 1 or 2 polished stone, and the doors would be made with polished as well. Bricks could be made with 4 polished and pillars with 2 polished. Bricks would have stairs, slabs and walls. Here is an example of some  textures. The chiseled bricks could also have their own unique patterns.

    I would hope to see the bricks be similar to the smaller brick textures; ex) bricks/nether bricks instead of the bigger stone brick style we are seeing more and more
