Be able to access chests, furnaces, etc. through signs

I think that being able to open chests, furnaces, blast furnaces, smokers, barrels, etc. or just any interactive block through a sign could be useful because then you wouldn't have to always right click in between the signs which could lead to (at least in my case) accidentally opening the wrong chest.

The screenshot below serves as a good example for what I mean, if you could click through the signs to get to the chests then it would make having condensed storage like this a lot easier.
