Sweet Berry Juice

Sweet Berries and a glass bottle (one bottle and 8 berries = 1 juice)

Uses -

1.5 hearts regenerated (instantly)

4 hunger (2 hunger drumstick)

Useful for healing.

    How about sweet berries and a water bottle. Water bottles are pretty useless otherwise.

    I don't think that it should heal you though. That is a bit OP. Maybe it is so cool and refreshing it reduces fire damage? Like a mini fire-resist pot for after you are on fire. It could be useful to take some to the nether.

    I have a bone to pick with the instant regeneration. It’s quite over the top for something so available. This should really just be used so we don’t waste as much time eating. I am currently making a survival vineyard but haven’t really relied on the berries because they take so long to consume and fill my inventory.

    I like it filling two drumsticks of hunger, but here's a hot take:

    Sweet Berry Juice (or Jam; depends on how you look at it) should cure Slowness.

    Think about how useful that is:
    Sweet berries are found in Taiga biomes, which are usually nearby colder biomes.
    What mob commonly spawns in cold biomes? Strays.
    What do Strays attack with? Tipped Arrows of Slowness.

    I like the idea of cheaper, alternative medicines (like Honey curing poison), so I think this is a nice fit. Maybe only 4 berries and 1 bottle make 1 juice though; I dunno. That might make it too easy to craft?

    I would like it to be wine colour so that people could rename it to tell stories about vineyards, wineries, inns and such, but at the same time it's not like having actual wine in the game. I would also like if you could drink it regardless of your hunger bar, just like you can sip some wine. Also, but maybe it's asking too much, it could have some effect like make you dizzy for some seconds or minutes.

    For what concerns the crafting, I'd say a water bottle + berries + sugar might be fine.

    If we want to really expand on this idea, we could introduce a mechanic called fermentation that could allow us to use that to craft some particular items, like a substitute crafting for the fermented spider eye and possibly new sort of magical items. Imagine for example a fermented chorus fruits that teleports you farther or maybe more times altogether. This could open to some nice ideas.
