Armor for addons

So, I'm an addon maker. I've been making stuff for the amazing minecraft community for a while now (whether people like it or not). It's fun to design an item, write a little code and BING it's in minecraft!

I'm particularly working on an addon for a realm that adds more ores. I haven't done something similar before, so I was surprised when I ran into such a simple issue:

ADD-ONS CAN'T HAVE CUSTOM ARMOR

Again, I haven't done a "more ores" add-on before, so I had no idea you can't entirely add your own armor.

I don't know if someone has found a way, and I'm just being blind, but if there is no custom-armor option for add-ons, PLEASE add it. The oppurtunities people would be able to do is infinite.

And, I just want to where green armor with my Gold, Leather, Diamond, Chainmail AND Iron armor.

    Custom items are STILL in beta, which is frustrating. I've seen addons that claim to add weapons and armor but they don't work because that's not a thing yet. You can add items that LOOK like a 'sword' that will give the player a strength boost, but they still aren't technically weapons.

    I do think this will inevitably be accessible to addon makers, but bedrock devs haven't been prioritizing it right now (understandably).

    No i have been in the addon community FOR YEARS and not a single custom armor they can only change the look and maybe the crafting recipe of the existing ones

    There is custom armor but only the helmet slot an randomly equips in multiplayer

    Seré directo, ¿en que afectaría el material de la armadura en la mecánica del juego?, ¿Que tan costoso sería de fabricar las piezas de dichas armaduras?, ¿Como se podrían personalizar? Y por último ¿Se podrán conseguir con algún logro de la plataforma? Esas son mis preguntas de momento.
