Redstone flashlights

Redstone flashlights  would be very helpful, for example say you were in a cave and don't have any torches you could get your flashlight out.you can right click to turn the flashlight on and off. Another example is if your lost at night in a forest or if you are in a lost in a cave with no torches you can use your flashlight to get home. The crafting recipe is 3 iron ingots on the top and bottom in the middle row is 1 button 1 redstone dust and 1redstone lamp.

  See the issue here isn't that the game doesn't have a flashlight in the game (Torches, Lanterns, light source blocks in general), it's that the lighting engine has a difficult time supporting dynamic lighting, which your suggestion is surrounded around.

  So, optimization of the lighting engine would be the first step to getting this feature.

  I like the idea but I think it should be made without the redstone and 1 more of the ingots you used! or do that and replace the lamp with a torch, and use netherite!

  Amaizing for deep dark. It should involve copper ingot and amethyst shards to craft. It will consume redstone right from inventory to work (like batteries). Great way to utilize excessive redstone for those players who dont build mechanisms. Itis not mean to replace torches (because it consumes redstone veru fast), but to act as portable source of light in tought situations (like escaping from Warden).
