Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Golden Hoppers!

What is it?

A hopper with almost the same recipe as a regular hopper, but with some iron replaced with gold. The transfer speed is increased (e.g. one stack at the same speed as one item in regular hoppers).

Why?

This would increase efficiency in farms and solve some of the issues surrounding them (e.g. supersmelters would be simpler and more efficient)

    Cool but over powered! That is 64x the normal speed! I am thinking maybe 10x the speed!

    I like the idea but it would take to many hardware resources, hopers already need so much.

    And one stack in the same time would be to much.

    A bundle of items (so up to a stack) or 16 or something like this would be nice.

    I think It should be 5x as much and use less gold to make it. To make it you should use the new smithing table to upgrade the iron hopper with one gold ingot and make it have 2x the storage.
