Purple mushrooms

Purple mushrooms are mushrooms that ONLY spawn in mushroom island biomes.

Purprle mushrooms can be used to create a lingering wither potion without needing gunpowder or dragon's breath.

Purple mushrooms are relevantly rare and reproduce the same as normal mushrooms, except they require twice as many random ticks. Purple mushrooms only reproduce in total darkness.

Purple mushrooms must be fed mushroom soup, and must be on mycelium, and must be in light level 4 or less, to grow into big mushrooms.

If you use purple mushrooms to craft mushroom soup, it becomes foul mushroom soup, which is poisonous

Feeding a red mooshroom and brown mooshroom foul mushroom soup will make them breed a purple mooshroom. Purple mooshrooms give foul mushroom soup

Purple mooshrooms are passive mobs, gained from breeding mooshrooms with purple mushrooms. More on purple mooshrooms (click here).

    Hey, I was thinking about also having the purple mushrooms be dangerous to collect. So, purple mushrooms themselves won't hurt you, but there is a creature Croakstool, see here) that looks like purple mushrooms, and poisons the player. This would be the only hostile mob on the mushroom island, and at that it would not move, and you could easily avoid it be avoiding purple mushrooms.

    You could take the mooshroom part out and put it in mobs and link it?
