Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Gunpowder Fuel

My idea is to make gunpowder a fuel source for a furnace/blast furnace/smoker, with 3 items cooked per (or something along those lines).

 

It would make a great way for ridiculous super-smelters for end-game players, without having to deal with huge lag of the bamboo growing/harvested.

    How do you think? You mean it would get exploited or something? (It could also just be a 1/1 ratio of item smelting, that would make it way less OP.)

    I don't think it would be op but that having a stack of gunpowder for fuel as an example can literally blow up the surrounding terrain.

    i can see gunpowder being given some cool incendiary properties, perhaps some new destructive incendiary weapons but not as a fuel, blackpowder burns too fast to heat things, perhaps there could be recipes to add extra charcoal ro gunpowder to make a new substance (idk the name) that can be used for things like very fast cooking in a furnace but for limited items and for things like fire arrows which would be sick for pvp
