Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Anvil Job Site

The Smithing Table does not have a function and is a decorative block. Rumor has it that the smithing table will be gaining functionality in a future update, but this is unnecessary. Instead, replace the smithing table jobsite with an anvil.

Jeb has stated in the past that leaving anvils in the world for players to find is too overpowered, and the solution is simple. Add a fourth stage of anvil degradation, below "chipped" and "damaged," called "broken," which cannot be used.

This would have the secondary effect of making used-up anvils not abruptly disappear, which is unimmersive and can cause you to have to redecorate your house if you don't have the iron for a replacement anvil.

    The Smithing Table is meant for the Toolsmith and it will get it's functionality in the future so I don't know why this is unnecessary.
