Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nether quartz tools and weapons

There is a lot of nether quartz in the nether, and zombie pigmen should have the ore needed for their swords, and armor, because there is no gold or in the meter for the zombie pigmen to get for their swords.

    Nether quartz cannot be use to make armor but tools and weapons are more reasonable.

    I would like to add to this. Quartz has a hardness of 7 and iron has a hardness of 4. Quartz tools and weapons should be more efficient than stone but less efficient than iron tools. Quartz tools and weapons should have a higher durability than iron tools too. Crafting however should be limited to quartz shards. It would be nice to see a better use for quartz in the nether update besides building blocks. Since we're all going to be mining for netherite we are going to have a lot of excess quartz laying around.

    This is a great idea, we need more ways to fight in the neither. It is the most dangerous dimension after all.
