Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Horizontal Beacons

Allow Beacons, NOT Beacon-Pyramids to be placed horizontally.

I think it would be an awesome way to outline areas for whatever reason.

If placed horizontally, the beam should still generate  whether or not there are blocks in front of it, and it should extend until it hits a solid block, or for 256 blocks (build height / 16 chunks).
